Hyper Florals

Hyper Florals

TOP L-R (Topshop, Miss Selfridge, River Island)
BOTTOM L-R (Monki, BooHoo, Topshop)

Spring is scheduled to arrive soon (I hope), and in celebration, I have put together a few of my favourite "hyper floral" pieces for the coming months. I adore these prints for Summer, but who says you can't wear them in the Spring too? Make the most out of your cash by investing in floral pieces that you can adapt throughout the seasons.

I'm one for garish prints, however these pieces work well on their own, with plain staple pieces from your wardrobe.

Pastels

Trousers: Topshop
Shirt: Mum's
Jacket: F21
Shoes: Primark
Bracelet: Miss Selfridge

I'm incredibly excited for spring as, fingers crossed, pastels will flood back into the high-street. There's no way I can resist pastel clothing.
I nabbed this shirt from my Mum (sorry mum!) and it just adds a playful 50's vibe to my outfits

Paintbox

 Dress: Topshop Sale
Shirt: H&M
Belt: Primark
Bag: H&M
Hat: eBay

Another year, another hair colour. I don't have much to say for myself other than a few wise words of wisdom: If you're fickle with hair colours DO NOT, EVER.. EVER dye it blue. It wont come out. The best move for me now is to make a permanent commitment to a hair colour for a while. Let me tell you "permanent" is not a word that resides in my vocabulary.

I wore this out the other day, and I'm hoping now that I've shuffled my room around to have more room for outfit pictures, it might encourage me to take more? Hopefully!

The Most Wonderful Time

I spent a large portion of my Winter break working, Christmas was almost non-existent for me (But I've racked up the pennies and I'm sure a few will be spent at Topshop). I also took some pictures of the hotel, where I work with my family, for promotional material, and I ended up really liking some of them so I thought I'd pop them up here. For most of them I was just messing around with the settings and having a play with my camera

I have a bunch of outfit pictures to post but haven't really felt like it (I could go on about how stressed and busy I've been for 4 paragraphs but it's so boring) and I didn't want to post things that I wasn't 100% happy with. This New Year I haven't been motivated to promise myself lots of things that I may or may not follow through with, instead, as far as this blog goes I think I will just post a bit more of everything. Instead of feeling forced to post outfits, a cheeky little number like this post may pop up once in a while to keep me focus and engaged with my blog. It's just a space where I ramble on the internet and talk about clothes, I shouldn't pressure myself to make it perfect or incredibly consistent. I hope it will feel a little more natural. I have a blog/youtube rebrand coming soon with banners/logos etc so that should keep me entertained

How was your Christmas? I hope you had a wonderful time!
