Topshop Sale Lust

It's not often I make wishlist posts because online "window shopping" can quickly escalate to actual shopping so I try and stay away. However, I've put together all my faves from the current Topshop Sale as I couldn't justify buying everything in my basket while I'm moving house. This way I can live vicariously through my blog and through anyone who has bought/will be buying from the sale, so if you've already snapped up a bargain then let me know below!

Ahh a girl can dream, eh?

"Yo listen up here's a story"

Ok, so I did a thing. I decided to dye my hair blue (not necessarily on a whim this time though). And it's ok, because I justified myself months ago by saying "well now I've dyed my hair brown I wonder how long it will take for me to dye it again". Well, three months is the answer. I'm a nightmare and I can't believe my hair is still in a good condition (it baffles me!)
This is by far my favourite non-natural colour I've gone and I really do hope it sticks around for a while (despite everyone calling it green!!) I think it suits my skin tone a lot more than pink and it goes down a treat with elderly folk so win-win!

I know I've been horrendous at blogging recently, life has well and truly gotten in the way over the last few weeks and months and it's showing no sign of slowing down. I tried to blog but my motivation (or lack of) was a bit naff, so I didn't push myself as I haven't been happy with my sub-standard content recently. But fingers crossed as my motivation is returning quickly and I've been pretty good with getting youtube videos out (2/3 a week, holluh!), so check out my channel if you're wondering what else I've been working on (youtube.com/lillarosax)

I've got a few posts lined up and may dedicate a whole day to my blog (if I can find one) soon! Yay! So how has everyone been?

Layers

Jumper: Primark
Denim Shirt: Primark
Skirt: Topshop
Shoes: eBay
Bag: Gift

This outfit was primarily a lazy day casual look until I added the shoes which I may or may not be able to walk in (may not is the answer). I'm not much of a layerer in the Winter because I spend too much of my time seething over the fact that it's freezing and I have to wear coats so I do it in Spring/Summer instead. Anyway, very few of my outfits recently have been bloggable unless you want a "Sweatpants and cat t-shirt: what I wear when I'm watching a whole season of MTV teen dramas in one day" post? Didn't think that would be very popular, plus then I would have to face the reality of ow lazy I've been since I finished my deadlines.

But how cute is this tacky rhinestone denim shirt I found in Primark the other day? I couldn't think of a reason to leave it behind, unless you count the fact that it's hideous, but you know I love that kind of thing! Anyway, now that it's car boot sale season I'll try and post some haul type posts here, I don't want to completely neglect my blog for youtube.. although while we're on the subject have you seen my new videos?

My Clueless Jacket

Jacket: ebay
Top: Primark
Trousers: Forever 21 sale
Bag: China town
Necklace: old
YES! I'm back, with proper content, and it's summer *throws confetti*. However, I'm starting off the summer with a blog post that looks like I fell in a lost and found box?
This jacket is my pride and joy at the moment, It only cost me a couple of ££ on ebay. Getting it to me was another story (not thanks to Royal Mail, biggest waste of my time ever). Anyway, it just reminds me of clueless and the 90's and I'm really liking that vibe at the moment (/ maybe forever?). I need to do some DIY and cut the buttons off and remove those shoulder pads!

Is anyone else embracing the 90's look or are you all over it already? I'm too far behind

DIY | Floral sunglasses

I'm sorry to have left my blog for TWO WEEKS (ouch!). It's that horrible time of year when the semester comes to an end and a ridiculous amount of uni work is scheduled to be in all at the same time, no thanks to whoever does the timetabling at my university! I've also been really enjoying making youtube videos recently, I feel like I've accomplished something a bit more productive (but not really) so check out his cool DIY that I posted recently

I wont put the step-by-step guide here, as it's pretty simple and the video is fairly short :)

I have an outfit post coming up next but for the next few weeks I might be a tad quiet on here with the epic workload so make sure to check out my youtube as I post 1-2 times a week :)

Not-So Sporty Spice

Top: Forever21
Necklace: H&M
Skirt: Topshop
Shoes: H&M

So, this is probably as close as I will veer towards the "sports luxe" trend that reappears every Summer. I'm probably the least sporty person in a 10 mile radius, at school, I hated P.E. so much that in protest I would sit on the floor during hockey in the middle of the pitch. In fairness, it was probably because my teacher was the nastiest person ever and I wanted to be a pain in the bum. I was successful.
Having said this, I am going to start up an exercise regime again as a short burst of cardio every day makes me feel super awake, I guess we will see how this goes. Maybe I should make a post about exercise for lazy people, because I am the queen of laziness, oops!

I don't have much to say about my outfit today, except that I'm sad that it was 100% high street and full priced, which is REALLY unusual for me. I'm sure my next post will be as thrifty as usual though!
