Waffle Knits

Jumper: Charity Shop
Dress: Topshop
Scarf: H&M
Shoes: Charity Shop
Socks: Topshop
Necklace: Topshop (via ebay)

In this outfit I'm doing my annual February tradition of admiring how sunny it is, adorning myself with pastels, then realising how cold it is and rapidly piling on the chunky jumpers. All I want to do is frolic in the sunshine but I can't see that happening for a very long time.

I'm trying to refine my style a little bit, which involves various scrap books, online inspiration boards and rummaging through my wardrobe, however I feel a little bit lost. Do you ever want to try new styles but feel like you'd be losing too much of your personality by doing so? I'm currently trying to find the balance between working small, key trends with my overly bright, pastel wardrobe.

Hyper Florals

Hyper Florals

TOP L-R (Topshop, Miss Selfridge, River Island)
BOTTOM L-R (Monki, BooHoo, Topshop)

Spring is scheduled to arrive soon (I hope), and in celebration, I have put together a few of my favourite "hyper floral" pieces for the coming months. I adore these prints for Summer, but who says you can't wear them in the Spring too? Make the most out of your cash by investing in floral pieces that you can adapt throughout the seasons.

I'm one for garish prints, however these pieces work well on their own, with plain staple pieces from your wardrobe.

Pastels

Trousers: Topshop
Shirt: Mum's
Jacket: F21
Shoes: Primark
Bracelet: Miss Selfridge

I'm incredibly excited for spring as, fingers crossed, pastels will flood back into the high-street. There's no way I can resist pastel clothing.
I nabbed this shirt from my Mum (sorry mum!) and it just adds a playful 50's vibe to my outfits
