Milan Fashion Week (Save or Splurge)

After mentally drooling over some of the shows at Milan Fashion Week last month, and then the subsequent coming to terms with never being able to own a piece of designer clothing I decided to throw together a few collages of my favourite shows and some "inspired" pieces to accompany them. Whether you enjoyed Dolce and Gabbana's feminine, Roman inspired pieces, Prada's colour-block ode to LA graffiti or Emilio Pucci's clashing prints, there was something to suit everyone's taste

Pink and you'll miss it

Hat: H&M (last year)
Skirt: H&M (last year)
Top: Thrifted
Watch: Miss Selfridge
Necklace: Miss Selfridge
Shoes: eBay
Skirt: River Island

Pink hues are all over the high-street this A/W which has finally enticed me to get into the autumn spirit. Part of my hatred towards Winter stems from the lack of colour in shops and magazines, I'm a creature of print and pattern, with a love for pink that cannot simply be appeased for 6 months of the year. I find myself genuinely interested in Autumnal fashion this season, and if you're anything like me, you might decide to incorporate some pink into your wardrobe this year. Here are a few of my favourite picks at the moment:

Print

Top: Vintage (Rokit)
Shorts: Primark sale last year
Necklace: Thrifted
Bag: Miss Selfridge

While the sun was still shining and I didn't have the need for a cheap, fan heater from Argos in my icy cold bedroom, I wore this outfit (it feels as if that was aeons ago, however it was only last week). I'm trying to wear more exciting outfits as I feel as if I've slowly slipped into a habit of not dressing in bright colours and prints.

The last 3 months have been... erratic, to say the least, and in every sense of the word. My blog has unfortunately suffered, which is only a shame to me because it brings me so much joy to post here. Fingers crossed, life has no hurdles left to throw at me and I can resume posting as normal. I have some exciting posts planned and my venture on to a journalism course at university will hopefully inspire me to post about things that don't necessarily always revolve around outfits. I'm excited!
