I promised I wouldn't make instagram posts but....

Ok, so as the title says "I promised I wouldn't make instagram posts but...." well, I've been SO busy recently. I've been cramming loads of essays in for uni whilst balancing my old job and my new one (I'm working from home sewing bows for Beauxoxo, how exciting - plus it's so flexible I wont have to worry about uni work), and on top of that I've been very very lucky to have been able to work backstage at London fashion week with the most talented designers I've ever known (not that I've known many, however, you get the point - they were INCREDIBLE!). I worked at the Ziad Ghanem show doing running and a bit of sewing, which was so incredible and the ethics of the designer have really cemented my decision to go into the industry (as a make-up artist), it's nice to see all genders and sizes represented on the runway. And I had a full on scream this morning when I saw it all on the VOGUE WEBSITE! Holy moly! If you find picture number 16, that's one of the dresses I helped embroider. I think my life is complete?

Ok, so I mayyyy have gone a tad overboard with the picture editing and flowers here, I was just messing around and thought I'd pop them in a blog post. At least it makes a change from the boring old white background? And I can't promise that I wont do the same with all of my OOTDs for the foreseeable future, no matter how tacky it is, it's just too much fun.

This is a typical work outfit for me, It's difficult not to wear the brand from head to toe, I need to mix it up more. Speaking of work, I'm leaving in a few weeks because it would seem that my university can't organize a pissup in a brewery and I'm working my butt off every day of the week at uni and it's all too stressful. Most days, I get home and I'm studying until past 10 at night. It's such a shame because I love my job so much and I'd always dreamed of working at Topshop, but I need to focus on my studies at the moment :( Hopefully they'll have me back as a Christmas temp again! Not very blog appropriate but it's a bit of a change I'll be coping with over the next few weeks, so maybe my posts will soon go back to how they were 3/4 months ago!

How I dye my hair pastel

I made a quick video for my youtube channel explaining how I dye my hair pastel colours. I've done blog posts on this (years ago now) but I thought it would be better to explain it through talking to the camera!
I'll probably do a really big hair colour blog post/updated video for one day but hopefully this should cover the basics for anyone who is trying to achieve a pastel colour. If you have any questions about pastel hair or anything like that, feel free to ask and I'll try and make a post with a few questions in it along with tips I've forgotten to include.

Here are a few outfits I put together in anticipation of Springtime and some cooler weather (or summer, by the looks of some of my pictures). I've added lots of florals, as per usual, but I'm liking the Monochrome trend at the moment so I've gently eased myself into it with these trousers from the h&m kids section.
